About the role

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various MEP projects in alignment with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the technical work of project teams and provide guidance to staff.
  • Collaborate on electrical designs and coordinate work within the Mazzetti team to successfully deliver projects from conception to execution.
  • Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle including participating in client meetings, presenting technical proposals and progress reports, and addressing technical concerns or inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive projects from conception to completion
  • Comprehensive MEP design system knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations governing electrical designs
  • Experience meeting and consulting with clients to drive successful project outcomes
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to oversee the technical work of other team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Preferred: Healthcare and hospital design experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • PMP Certification
