Engineering Manager

• Leading and growing an infrastructure team of 3–5 engineers focused on SRE and DevX initiatives.
• Driving reliability, observability, and performance across Maze’s services and infrastructure.
• Designing and evolving internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure that enable product teams to move fast and safely.
• Preparing infrastructure and tooling to support AI/ML workloads at scale, ensuring reliable performance and cost efficiency as AI usage grows
• Supporting engineers through coaching, mentorship, and clear career development paths.
• Partner with peers in engineering leadership to define technical strategy and drive initiatives that improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product and Engineering to ensure our infrastructure, tooling, and processes enable teams to deliver efficiently and confidently.
• Own incident management processes, including on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement of system reliability and MTTR.
• Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing engineers who are excited about the intersection of infrastructure and AI
• Balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery in a high growth, remote environment.
