About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sales & Account Management
- Proactive management and development of existing customers in target groups such as lighting planners, architects, wholesalers and electrical contractors
- Targeted new customer acquisition in the Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria & Austria region
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with planning firms, architecture offices, electrical companies and specialist wholesalers
- Market Development & Strategy
- Identify market potential and develop regional sales strategies
- Monitor market and competitive trends in the lighting industry
- Work closely with internal marketing and product teams to position our product range
- Presentation & Consulting
- Professionally present our product portfolio (Decorative, Outdoor, Technical Lighting) on-site at customer locations
- Provide expert advice on product range solutions, new products and technical product features
- Attend trade fairs and industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven professional sales experience within the lighting industry (lighting, luminaires, lighting technology; preferably from the decorative segment)
- Existing network with relevant customers in the Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria & Austria region
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally with lighting planners, architects, wholesalers or electrical companies
- Solid product knowledge in lighting (decorative and/or technical)
- Confident use of modern sales tools and CRM systems
- Very good German language skills; knowledge of the Austrian market is an advantage, and good English skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Independent, structured and target-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel within the region (Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria & Austria)
- Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
