About the role
- Conduct thorough assessments of medical devices and technologies to evaluate safety and effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient safety protocols and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to address equipment-related incidents and enhance overall safety.
- Provide training and education sessions on safe medical device usage and best practices.
- Engage in incident reporting and analysis to mitigate risks associated with medical technologies.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of patient safety regulations and medical device safety standards.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on medical equipment and patient safety initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across healthcare settings.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
