About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Produce accurate monthly project financial reports and submit them to Corporate Finance
Track financial status by monitoring variances from forecasts
Organize monthly Finance Calendar activities
Prepare monthly accruals for Corporate Finance
Review timesheet corrections for accuracy and submit them for approval and processing
Monitor fulfillment expenses against forecast assumptions
Review vendor invoices, assign appropriate codes, and monitor payment status
Perform research and provide additional clarifications
Publish monthly Project Financial Dashboards and Labor Reports to Project Management
Create client billings and assist the administrative team with monthly distribution
Perform monthly billing and revenue reconciliations
Submit Contract Information Forms based on executed agreements and/or amendments
Partner with Corporate Finance, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 0–3 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
California residency is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Financial auditing experience
Understanding of cost-reimbursable contracts and contract closeout processes
Strong organizational skills for project tracking and progress management
Data entry experience
Self-motivated with strong communication skills
Considerable judgment and initiative
Private and secure home workspace
Access to Wi-Fi, LAN (wired Ethernet), or both at home
Internet download speed of at least 25 Mbps single-user/50 Mbps shared and upload speed of at least 5 Mbps, preferably 10 Mbps or higher
