About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop relationships with employers and community providers to provide participants access to paid and unpaid career-focused employment opportunities
  • Meet with and present to employers to discuss services, assess employer needs, and build working relationships
  • Develop relationships with local economic development groups, chambers of commerce, and professional organizations
  • Educate project staff on available employment opportunities
  • Establish feedback loops with employers to adjust referrals based on updated skill sets
  • Coordinate training opportunities to meet employer needs
  • Schedule, coordinate, facilitate, and participate in job fairs, on-site recruitment events, and community partner functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in account/client management, program marketing, or sales
  • Strong working knowledge of labor markets, community resources, and diverse populations
  • Initiative, independent judgment, discretion, decision-making, and motivational skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, listening, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with continuous change, both independently and as a team member
  • Community engagement or outreach experience preferred
  • Must travel up to 70% of the time
  • Must live in Montana
  • Must maintain a home office with reliable high-speed internet
  • Minimum 20 Mbps download speed, or 50 Mbps for shared internet connectivity
  • Minimum 5 Mbps upload speed
