About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry out clinical reviews
  • Provide case managers with advice regarding complaints and enquiries connected with PIP referrals
  • Handle complaints and enquiries from customers, representatives including welfare rights groups and MPs, and the DWP
  • Provide outcomes and feedback on complaints about healthcare professionals
  • Use feedback for professional development, clinical improvement and wider business improvements
  • Assess how customers’ disabilities or health conditions affect their daily lives
  • Work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders
  • Complete formal training before assessing customers
  • Participate in ongoing support and mentorship

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid NMC registration number
  • Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
