Inspector

• Inspection of installed structures and related civil work through all stages of construction and/or repair to ensure the work is completed in compliance with Client Standards, designs, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Conducting quality assurance inspections of civil works, such as underground duct banks, ditch infills, dike construction/modifications, pilasters, culvert/bridge installations and various concrete structures.
• Write detailed reports, including pre-job meeting guide, daily inspection report, non-standard report, photos, marked drawings, and civil completion certificate, submitted within 24 hours of completing the inspection.
• Hold pre-construction meeting with the civil contractor to review the design drawings, Client standards/specifications, and site at the start of the project.
• Identify non-conformances during inspection, document, and communicate non-conformances with the Contractor.
• Act as field delegate of the Client’s Designer and/or Professional Engineer, performing field reviews and coordinating field-related design issues with the Designer/Engineer.
