About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide virtual 60-minute education appointments covering the birth process, labor and delivery preferences, postpartum considerations, and questions to ask their in-person provider
Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hold the following licenses or education: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Must be residing in the United States
Must be in good standing with all applicable medical boards. No history of medical malpractice, disciplinary actions, or loss/restriction of hospital privileges
Possess the ability to provide direct member care for 5 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position)
Must have 3+ years practicing as an independently licensed provider
Have 3+ years of prior experience in the telehealth space. Must be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform
Must be passionate about women’s and family health
