About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical support for daily manufacturing operations and live production activities
Partner with supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment and production processes operate efficiently and reliably
Support tooling selection and validation activities
Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges to improve operational performance
Develop, document, and execute process improvement and process development projects
Identify opportunities to increase production efficiency, reduce cost variances, improve product margins, and enhance quote competitiveness
Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
Support product engineering, product development, product management, and quality control teams in developing and launching new products
Maintain alignment with company quality standards while supporting customer requirements
Use data-driven problem-solving methodologies and CAD tools to analyze processes and implement improvements
Assist with peer training and mentorship activities
Contribute to team capabilities and operational expertise
Support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives
Help maintain a safe and compliant work environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience coordinating and managing projects
Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design tools
Experience with manufacturing systems and process improvement methodologies
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, including process mapping, root cause analysis, 8D, A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, Design of Experiments (DOE), and capability studies
Experience working with quality management systems such as ISO and IATF, including control plans and PFMEAs
Manufacturing experience in a production environment
