About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate production equipment used to manufacture dual wall end caps based on business requirements
Start, monitor, and maintain machine operations while accurately recording operational data
Produce end caps for wiring, tubing, and cabling applications according to specifications
Review work orders and production schedules to determine material requirements, dimensions, and tolerances
Meet production and quality standards while minimizing scrap and performing required size changes
Operate multiple machines simultaneously and follow packaging procedures, product specifications, and process requirements
Complete production, material, and labor reporting accurately
Support Health, Safety & Environmental initiatives and contribute to an Incident and Injury Free workplace
Follow Leader Standard Work requirements and operate equipment safely and effectively
Assist with training new and junior employees using established control plans
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Manufacturing experience with production equipment and machinery
Understanding of materials, production processes, and quality control practices
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment
Keen attention to detail and visual accuracy when inspecting materials and finished products
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities
Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, operating procedures, and production documentation
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum one year of manufacturing experience
