About the role

  • Coordinate and mentor interns, legal assistants and junior attorneys, organizing routines and supervising the execution of tasks;
  • Handle complex cases, proposing legal strategies and solutions aligned with the client’s interests;
  • Represent and defend clients’ interests at all instances, conducting critical analysis of facts and evidence (documentary and oral);
  • Conduct legal research and draft procedural pleadings and documents in general (complaints, answers, motions, briefs and appeals), as well as monitor case progress and attend hearings;
  • Review work produced by more junior team members;
  • Support management in client communication and in monitoring the procedural flow of cases under their responsibility.

Requirements

  • Law degree (undergraduate) completed;
  • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
  • Postgraduate studies (lato sensu and stricto sensu) in Civil Procedure will be considered a plus;
  • Experience litigating before the Judiciary in general and, in particular, before Higher Courts, with strong knowledge of case law, internal rules and the dynamics of judges’ chambers;
  • Previous experience in a law firm will be valued;
  • Advanced or fluent English.
