About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and mentor interns, legal assistants and junior attorneys, organizing routines and supervising the execution of tasks;
Handle complex cases, proposing legal strategies and solutions aligned with the client’s interests;
Represent and defend clients’ interests at all instances, conducting critical analysis of facts and evidence (documentary and oral);
Conduct legal research and draft procedural pleadings and documents in general (complaints, answers, motions, briefs and appeals), as well as monitor case progress and attend hearings;
Review work produced by more junior team members;
Support management in client communication and in monitoring the procedural flow of cases under their responsibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree (undergraduate) completed;
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
Postgraduate studies (lato sensu and stricto sensu) in Civil Procedure will be considered a plus;
Experience litigating before the Judiciary in general and, in particular, before Higher Courts, with strong knowledge of case law, internal rules and the dynamics of judges’ chambers;
Previous experience in a law firm will be valued;
Advanced or fluent English.
