About the role
- Produce high-quality, engaging written content covering fantasy football (standard, PPR, Dynasty, DFS, best ball, NFL Draft), sports betting markets, and other NFL media topics.
- Execute a mix of long-form evergreen articles and short-form news updates/daily commercial pieces. This must be human-created content.
- Optimize every piece of content for search engines to ensure maximum visibility.
- Monitor real-time trends to identify "hot" topics before they peak.
- Work with the editorial team on best SEO practices and maintain a strict adherence to deadlines, especially during the high-velocity NFL season.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio of SEO-tailored writing within the fantasy sports or betting industry.
- Deep understanding of SEO keywords, search intent, formatting and how to rank in a competitive niche.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Trends (highly preferred).
- Experience in tailoring writing to Google News is an added plus.
