About the role
- Handles payroll processing, time tracking, PTO updates, and payroll-related compliance and reporting.
- Manages employee benefits and 401K programs by overseeing enrollments, overseeing wellness incentive program, maintaining records, coordinating with providers, and supporting claims resolution.
- Manages recruitment and hiring processes by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, coordinating offers and onboarding, administering background checks, and supporting recruitment strategies.
- Support intern program recruitment, scheduling, and coordination with educational partners.
- Maintains HR systems and employee records, and assists with HR projects, staff meetings, and internal communications.
- Leads employee discipline across all locations and responds to HR-related employee and management inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in HR generalist, payroll, or benefits roles preferred.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in service driven environment.
