About the role

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for high-value accounts to address growth objectives and customer needs
  • Engage key stakeholders across architecture teams, buying committees, and procurement to expand Matillion’s presence
  • Identify, research, and secure new strategic customers through targeted prospecting and engagement
  • Manage full sales cycle from discovery to onboarding in collaboration with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success
  • Build and foster partner relationships with technology and consulting partners to drive joint opportunities
  • Apply MEDDPICC principles for opportunity management, maintain accurate forecasting, and refine sales techniques

Requirements

  • Full-cycle strategic sales experience, ideally in Data & Analytics, SaaS, or enterprise software
  • Proven track record exceeding $1M+ ARR quotas and closing six-figure and seven-figure deals
  • Ability to navigate complex enterprise accounts and identify new use cases
  • Expertise in sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Value Selling)
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to independently source, develop, and onboard new customers (pipeline generation)
  • Maintain high client engagement (5+ meetings per week)
  • Experience working with technology and consulting partners and collaborating with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success teams
  • Based in the United States (West Coast preferred)
