About the role
- Responsible for identifying and closing new enterprise customers and growing Matillion's footprint with existing customers
- Drive revenue growth through direct sales and partnership development within a defined territory
- Manage entire sales process from generating pipeline to closing six-figure deals and managing enterprise customers
- Develop comprehensive territory strategy collaborating with SDR, marketing, and channel partners to maximize customer acquisition and retention
- Foster strong relationships with technology and consulting partners and educate them on Matillion's value to create new business opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and solution architecture teams and continuously learn new techniques to sharpen skills
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-cycle sales experience in a complex technology solution-selling environment
- Consistently achieved and exceeded $1M+ ARR quotas and track record of sourcing and closing six-figure deals
- Skilled in sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Force Management, or Value Selling
- Ability to navigate large enterprise software contracts and RFP processes
- Proven track record of independently sourcing, managing, developing, and onboarding new customers
- Effective pipeline management
- Ability to uncover customer's technical challenges and translate into clear business value proposition for all organization levels
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
