About the role
- Take full independent ownership of the product function; translate complex technical and data challenges into clear priorities and measurable outcomes
- Continuously refine roadmap based on data, user feedback, and results; prioritize ruthlessly and cut scope when needed
- Work day-to-day with engineering to deep dive into problems, unblock delivery, and ensure high-quality, high-velocity outcomes
- Speak regularly with customers to uncover pain points, validate direction, and ensure adoption
- Partner with design, engineering, and leadership to turn objectives into a focused roadmap and ensure delivery aligns with company goals
- Define and track product metrics, run experiments, and follow through post-launch to confirm outcomes
- Help establish product rituals and standards (specs, prioritization frameworks) and shape Matia’s product culture
- Optimize engineering/product processes, methodologies, and tools to support rapid growth
Requirements
- 2–4 years as a Product Manager, ideally in data-intensive domains (data pipelines, observability, analytics platforms, infra products)
- Comfortable writing queries and reasoning about optimal data structures and data quality (freshness, completeness, lineage)
- Demonstrated success shipping products end-to-end, from discovery through delivery with clear metrics moved
- Thrives in hectic, noisy, resource-constrained startup environments; able to work with ambiguity and act autonomously
- Ownership mindset with bias toward action, accountability, and measured impact over process
- Clear, concise writer; able to document specs, explain tradeoffs, and coordinate across NY leadership and Israel engineering
- Ability to review and provide actionable feedback on product design flows and wireframes (Figma experience strongly preferred)
- Skilled at using modern AI tools for research, drafting specs, and analyzing data to accelerate workflows
- Ability to work in-person, side by side with engineering in Ramat Gan, Israel
