Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent knowledge and experience with a backend language such as Java, Node.js, Go, or C++
BS/MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field
2+ years of industry work experience
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and coding
Experience designing and building distributed backend systems handling high volumes of traffic
Ability to handle ambiguous business requirements with prioritization, time management, and execution focus
Passion for solving engineering problems and making continuous improvements
Nice to have: experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Nice to have: NoSQL experience, such as DynamoDB or Cassandra
Nice to have: Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark, or TypeScript experience
Nice to have: Agile development methodology and CI/CD
Nice to have: Docker container experience
