Prepare investment memos and strategic presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Monitor M&A activity, industry trends, competitive environment, peer earnings, and other market intelligence to inform strategic planning and investment theses.
Collaborate with internal teams to assess strategic opportunities and build relationships with emerging and established companies.
Assist in the negotiation of key transaction terms and review of definitive documentation.
Maintain internal trackers for deal pipeline, competitive intelligence, and valuation comps.
Work closely with Executive, Finance and Business Unit leadership in inorganic strategy formulation, deal sourcing and origination, financial analysis and valuation, negotiation and execution.
Help identify and assess strategic opportunities and build relationships with emerging and established companies.
Be a great communicator, both one-on-one with functional colleagues and internal clients, and in group settings.
Deliver successfully on multiple initiatives in a highly dynamic environment, while calm under pressure.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in investment banking (preferably M&A or Tech), private equity, venture capital, or corporate development.
Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Business, or related field). MBA is a plus, but not required.
Strong expertise in financial modeling and strategic analysis in transactional environments.
Exceptional communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and sound judgment.
A collaborative and proactive mindset; thrives in lean, fast-paced, and high-performance environments.
Expert-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like SensorTower, FactSet, PitchBook, or Tableau is a plus.
Interest or experience in the consumer internet, technology / media, or mobile app sectors is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel and ability to manage shifting priorities as needed.
