• Review product briefs for new features or services and compose risk assessments in order to advise product teams on safety risks
• Act as a thought partner to product and engineering teams to develop win-win safety solutions
• Influence peer teams, without authority, in order to secure positive outcomes for our users’ safety and trust
• “Red team” (engage in adversarial testing of) new products to identify safety gaps and areas for improvement
• Present to peer teams or externally on an as-needed basis
• Serve as a cross-functional facilitator among product, legal, privacy, security, content moderation, data science, and more to align on safety system design
• Analyze safety features across Match Group’s brands in order to improve the approach across the portfolio
• Maintain a product launch calendar and documentation knowledge hub for products and features within your area of responsibility
• Monitor evolving safety trends and industry best practices
