About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze marketing and business performance
- Build models to understand the impact of marketing investments and strategy
- Identify and communicate insights and opportunities to executives and internal teams
- Perform ad-hoc analyses evaluating marketing spend efficiency
- Build reporting infrastructure and make budgeting recommendations to optimize growth
- Integrate event data with surveys, ad publishers, app store data, and other customer data sources
- Support reporting and business intelligence needs of the Marketing team
- Partner with Marketing teams across business units on marketing measurement, A/B test design and analysis, and data-driven insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
- Experience building Bayesian regressions and/or other marketing measurement techniques
- Experience designing, executing, and measuring geo experiments and causal inference techniques
- Proficiency with SQL
- Scripting skills, preferably in Python
- Knowledge of statistics, specifically experimental design and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalents
- Familiarity with common marketing KPIs, metrics, and growth experiments
- Ability to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
- Ability to execute complex analytics projects and present action-oriented conclusions
- Ability to build effective relationships with diverse business partners
