Assistant Executive Housekeeper
MasterCorp, Inc.Assistant Executive Housekeeper managing housekeeping operations for MasterCorp in the hospitality industry. Overseeing staff performance and ensuring cleanliness standards are met in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Assistant Executive Housekeeper (AEH) is a second level manager who plays a key role in the management of the site housekeeping operations.
- Create and post schedules by 5:00 PM every Thursday; assigns daily tasks and assigns work to housekeepers, housepersons, and supervisors.
- Monitor daily work hours to ensure compliance with budgeted hours.
- Exemplify a sense of urgency with entire team to ensure all units get turned on time.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards.
- Conduct weekly report cards for housekeeping staff and MSI reports of Supervisors.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback to Housekeepers, Housemen, and Supervisors.
- Assist in performance management of team members including coaching and counseling team members.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Interview, select, and onboard new team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two years of experience directly related to the job with progressive responsibility.
- Effective written and verbal English communication, bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license will be required for certain locations.
