About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee sales, operations, and financial well-being of the Region.
  • Maintain existing clients, generate proposals and close new business to achieve financial and sales goals for the Region.
  • Collaborate with MCS Business Development to ensure operational efficiencies for current and future growth.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct customer visits and inspections for quality control and contract compliance.
  • Assists in payroll review and conducts operations meetings and training.
  • Manages Region’s budget, payroll, supplies and any other required budgets.
  • Reviews and approves subcontractor invoices.
  • Ensures that MCS’ policies and procedures are followed by managers and supervises operations team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive management responsibility in a field directly related to this position with successful multi-site responsibilities; required.
  • Ten years’ experience in facility operations preferably within an education/campus facility preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and highly effective interpersonal skills. (Bilingual Spanish a plus).
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize and delegate as needed.
  • Self-motivated team player with a high sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient in Orange QC or other common facility management, quality management, and work order monitoring tools.
  • Work irregular hours including weekends and after hours.
