About the role

  • Support active product initiatives and own an AI-focused initiative for our Mx applications.
  • Work with your manager and cross-functional partners to deliver customer value.
  • Map user workflows and pain points using lightweight customer interviews, internal stakeholders, and desk research.
  • Synthesize findings into a clear problem statement, target user, and opportunity sizing.
  • Review market and competitive solutions and summarize implications for roadmap and positioning.
  • Propose 1–3 primary KPIs per problem, including leading indicators and guardrails.
  • Partner with Analytics and Engineering to establish baselines and measure success.
  • Translate problems into solutions with measurable outcomes, explicit scope boundaries, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define solution into stories; support a backlog; call out dependencies, risks, and trade‑offs.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering on solution options; use prototyping or experiments where appropriate.
  • Participate in grooming, sprint reviews, and UAT.
  • Track and analyze results. Publish a concise results read-out.
  • Present outcomes and learnings to Product and Engineering leadership at the end of the internship.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous problems, communicate clearly, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with different teams.
  • Working familiarity with product analytics (e.g., funnels, cohorts) and basic SQL or spreadsheet analysis.
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to regulated environments and GxP concepts
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • This position is specifically designed for Northeastern University students as part of the university's cooperative education (Co-op) program.
