About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing and supporting the financial operations of Mastercam’s European entities
Serving as the primary finance business partner for the region
Ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust financial analysis, and compliance with local and corporate requirements
Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial results
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
Monitoring internal controls
Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Coordinating with external audit and tax advisors
Acting as a liaison between European business leaders and the U.S. headquarters finance team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Charted Accountancy Qualification (or similar) Essential
6 - 9 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles
Experience supporting multiple entities, regions, or international business units
Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
Solid understanding of month-end close, balance sheet management, reconciliations, and financial controls
Ability to interpret financial data and provide clear, practical insight
Highly organized, with the ability to manage deadlines across multiple entities
Experience supporting finance and accounting operations within European entities
Knowledge of European statutory reporting, VAT, tax, or local compliance requirements
Proficiency using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes, assess financial impacts, and develop practical solutions
