About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer all aspects of employee benefits programs
- Perform benefits administration and claims resolution
- Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits
- Prepare communication materials for open enrollment
- Manage employee leaves of absence according to company policies
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and prepare required benefits notices
- Build and maintain relationships with benefits providers
- Perform other related HR duties as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience required
- SHRM-CP or PHR certifications preferred
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in benefits administration or a similar role, preferably within a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Above average skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and HRIS/benefits administration software
