About the role
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of epics, user stories, and defects to detail development topics
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure stories match business needs
- Champion the team in building high-quality solutions that meet customer needs
- Identify business needs/define requirements for product features through the development of user stories
- Effectively present product ideas, strategies, and designs to stakeholders
- Coordinate releases in conjunction with development and quality control
- Create and maintain prioritized and detailed work item backlogs which accurately reflect customer and business priorities
- Provide clear visibility of progress towards completion of assigned projects
- Validate new features with stakeholders
- Contribute to long-term roadmaps and overall release planning
- Participate in applicable professional, technical, and career development training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in product management or similar technical role within a software development environment
- Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
- Hands-on experience working with Scrum teams to refine backlogs, write user stories, participate in sprint ceremonies, and support release planning in an Agile environment.
- Product ownership experience for Salesforce technologies (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, integrations) strongly preferred.
