About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a London territory and customer base across the UK on-trade
  • Win new business by using industry networks, knowledge and commercial instinct
  • Secure brand listings on back bars, cocktail menus and strategic lighthouse accounts
  • Grow distribution and rate of sale
  • Advise customers on spirits, cocktails, consumers and category trends
  • Manage A&P spend and ensure activations and trade marketing deliver returns
  • Launch and build brands in collaboration with Brand, Trade Marketing, Sales and Brand Ambassador teams
  • Support tastings, training and category sessions
  • Own pricing, positioning, negotiations, distribution and portfolio performance across the territory
  • Travel nationwide in this field-based role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • London-based
  • Solid account management experience within the spirits industry
  • Knowledge of the UK on-trade and a genuine network of customers and operators
  • Track record of winning new business
  • Understanding of how to build brands, not just sell cases
  • Strong knowledge across spirits categories, particularly craft and premium
  • Commercial acumen and comfort using sales data to identify opportunities
  • Confident negotiation and relationship-building skills at every level
  • Understanding of A&P investment and how to make it work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • WSET qualification is advantageous but not required
