Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma/GED
Pursuing a designation from the Society of Actuaries
Evidence of analytical and quantitative skills through coursework, certification, or experience
Demonstrated leadership skills through school, work, or volunteer activities
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
Introductory programming skills in VBA, Python, R, or SQL
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Minimum current cumulative GPA of 3.0
Prior actuarial internship is an ideal qualification
Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is an ideal qualification
