Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED
- Pursuing a designation from the Society of Actuaries
- Evidence of analytical and quantitative skills through coursework, certification, or experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills through school, work, or volunteer activities
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Introductory programming skills in VBA, Python, R, or SQL
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Minimum current cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Prior actuarial internship is an ideal qualification
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is an ideal qualification
