What you’ll need

Applicants must have completed one of the following programs between June 2025 and June 2026:
A paralegal certificate program from an accredited institution; or
An associate or bachelor's degree program in paralegal studies or legal studies.
Demonstrated interest and desire to work in the public interest.
Professional or personal experience related to the mission of the Attorney General’s Office.
Knowledge or ability in legal areas such as legal research, discovery, trial preparation, case management systems, investigation, drafting subpoenas and other documents.
Effective analytical, research, writing and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated engagement and leadership in school and/or community activities.
