About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing a caseload of complex civil and criminal matters.
- Partnering with federal and state agencies and civilian investigators to investigate fraud allegations.
- Conducting criminal and civil investigations, including drafting legal documents and subpoenas.
- Engaging in settlement and plea negotiations.
- Litigating criminal and civil enforcement actions, including handling motions and conducting trials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
- Three (3) to six (6) years of civil litigation experience or criminal prosecution experience.
- Background in complex civil litigation, health care fraud litigation, and False Claims Act litigation preferred.
- Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Applicants must be Massachusetts Bar eligible at the time of application and must apply for admission before their start date.
