Key responsibilities & impact

Handle a large caseload of primarily narcotics and firearms-related matters from investigation through sentencing.
Collaborate with law enforcement, grand jury investigations, and appear before District and Superior Courts.
Lead investigations with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Review search warrants and engage in extensive grand jury practice.
Handle all phases of litigation in Superior Court, including motions to suppress and trials.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a practicing attorney and a member of the Massachusetts bar.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in state criminal practice, including grand jury investigations, motion practice, and trials.
Ability to handle a large and advanced caseload and with substantial Superior Court experience.
A background in handling narcotics-related investigations and prosecution is preferred, with extensive experience and knowledge in reviewing search warrants and wiretap warrants.
A valid Massachusetts driver’s license is required, as travel is necessary to various courts.
Applicants must be active members in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar at the time of application.
