About the role

  • Responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, resource management, and stakeholder communication across a portfolio of projects
  • Oversee new service rollouts, implementation of brand initiatives, national promotions, and design and construction of franchised locations
  • Ensure projects are completed timely, within budget, and aligned with company objectives
  • Define, develop, and implement project management strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance project delivery
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of design and construction projects including new location openings and refresh/remodel/relocations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including leadership, internal cross-functional team members, vendors, and franchisees
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration on project status and report progress to Project Sponsor and Director, National Operations
  • Assist with risk management and mitigation strategies and report necessary modifications to project plans
  • Work with Director, National Operations to prioritize projects and manage implementation capacity for the project management team and network
  • Manage individual projects approximately 25% of the time, leading projects from initiation through post-mortem analysis
  • Conduct post-mortems across portfolio to identify continuous improvement areas and share best practices
  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of Project Managers and construction manager(s); conduct talent assessments and performance reviews

Requirements

  • College degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination or program management in a business environment
  • Multi-unit and/or franchise experience desired
  • Minimum 3 years leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success overseeing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives such as service rollouts, brand campaigns, and construction/design projects
  • Proficient in MS applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and MS Project; Smartsheet a plus
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; proactive in identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and resource allocation
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize workload, and handle multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction or oversight
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on long-term objectives
  • Willing to travel 10%
