About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the collection, organization, validation, and tracking of program information and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all TDI districts.
- Develop and implement clear, efficient processes for gathering quantitative and qualitative information from TDI Fellows, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze program data to identify trends, measure outcomes, evaluate impact, and provide actionable insights.
- Create reports, dashboards, presentations, case studies, resource libraries, and other materials that communicate program progress and impact.
- Produce compelling, data-driven content to highlight TDI's impact.
- Improve reporting workflows and support the implementation of new performance measurement tools.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen data quality, consistency, and reliability across the TDI portfolio.
- Manage contracts and oversee consultant work products as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in architecture, planning, economics, community development, political science, public policy, real estate, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of experience in creative or place-based community and economic development or a similar program management role in the public or private sector; three or more years of experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collecting, managing, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to measure program outcomes and inform decision-making.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred: Graduate-level coursework or professional experience in program evaluation, communications, data science, journalism, applied mathematics, economic development, or a related field.
- Familiarity with community development, place-based initiatives, the creative economy, and/or impact measurement.
- Proficiency in a second language commonly spoken in Massachusetts Gateway Cities.
