About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides a broad range of care and services to patients including EKG and phlebotomy.
  • Performs secretarial duties to ensure efficient operation of the Emergency Department.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support [BLS] certification required
  • Certified Nurse Aide [CNA] or Emergency Medical Technician [EMT] license required
  • Experience as a medical technician or patient care assistant in an Emergency setting preferred
  • Knowledge of C.A.R.E. Standards
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, often stressful environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to set and reset priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills
