About the role
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients experiencing mental health issues
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings
- Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress
- Contribute to the development of mental health counseling programs
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior counselors
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience providing mental health counseling
- Experience with diverse populations and complex mental health conditions
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC - State License) required
- Experience with CBT preferred
- Proven expertise in evidence-based counseling techniques
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
