About the role
- Assist in the fabrication of storage packaging and in the packing/conditioning of artworks for the reserve collection, under supervision.
- Prepare materials to cover/encase works on paper and photographs.
- Make folders for historical documents.
- Prepare identification tags/labels for works in the reserve collection and for new acquisitions.
- Assist with the handling and movement of artworks, under supervision.
- Assist in updating information about artworks and accessories/supports in the collection database.
- Assist in organizing digital files on Google Drive and the digital repository of documents relevant to the Unit's activities.
Requirements
- Young people aged 14 to 24 (not yet 24) who are enrolled in elementary school, high school, or higher education (ongoing or completed).
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
