About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage compensation and benefits for Mashreq's overseas countries
  • Run pay review and bonus cycles in overseas locations
  • Implement the Bank's strategy for digitizing Rewards processes and enhance user experience
  • Work with vendors to develop scalable concepts and applications that improve existing user journeys
  • Analyze compensation survey data and recommend and implement changes aligned with the Bank's compensation philosophy
  • Review annual pay bands for each country and provide management with cost-impact analysis
  • Initiate or participate in compensation and benefits surveys for each country to support talent attraction and retention
  • Advise overseas Country PABPs and leadership on policy clarification and interpretation
  • Ensure consistency of policies across Mashreq locations
  • Manage the annual performance cycle end-to-end for each overseas location
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and labor laws related to compensation and benefits in each country
  • Develop and maintain overseas Rewards Policies and Benefits Matrices and communicate compensation and benefits information
  • Communicate policy changes to overseas countries and maintain current policy comparisons
  • Document SOPs for new and existing processes to ensure consistent understanding and implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior professional role in Compensation & Benefits within a banking or global organization
  • Expertise in developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies
  • Experience managing pay reviews, bonus cycles, performance cycles, pay bands, and benefits policies across countries
  • Knowledge of compensation surveys and competitive pay analysis
  • Ability to digitize rewards processes and improve user journeys using scalable solutions
  • Experience working with vendors on rewards concepts and applications
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and labor laws related to compensation and benefits across countries
  • Ability to advise country HR teams and leadership on policy interpretation
  • Ability to develop policy documentation, benefits matrices, and SOPs
  • Ability to ensure policy uniformity and accurate communication across multiple locations
