About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and administer the Finance Regulatory and Reporting Analytical platform, ensuring its reliability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data models with multiple subject areas to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Engage with business users to gather requirements, document functional and technical specifications, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Manage all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and development to testing, deployment, and post-production support, adhering to stringent enterprise-level change management processes.
  • Facilitate and manage SIT and UAT phases to ensure smooth project implementation and delivery.
  • Provide robust post-production support, addressing issues promptly and implementing performance optimizations to ensure system stability.
  • Explore and implement opportunities to leverage cloud services and drive cloud migration initiatives where beneficial.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for solution architecture, technical designs, and project details. Provide training and knowledge sharing for system users and team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting, with Deep understanding of Finance and banking.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and T-SQL, including experience with performance tuning of functions and procedures.
  • Proficiency of Informatica PowerCenter 10.x or SSIS is important.
  • Advanced-level expertise in Power BI will be an advantage.
  • An understanding of new technologies such as cloud services and experience with cloud migration will be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Hadoop data platform & data engineering tools will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with data modeling and tools like ERWIN or equivalent for handling complex data models.
  • Experience in engaging with business users for requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Clear understanding of SIT/UAT processes and their importance in project success.
  • Knowledge of finance and regulatory reporting processes is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage the complete life cycle of software development.
  • Experience working in large enterprises with stringent management processes.
  • Capability to independently lead projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work as an independent contributor while driving teamwork across functional areas.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and migration strategies.
  • Experience providing post-production support in large, complex environments.
