About the role

  • Responsible for overseeing and executing detection-related functions for the Retail Business segment.
  • Monitor transactional-based card spends on a 24x7 basis.
  • Contact cardholders on suspicious activities and take necessary actions.
  • Ensure to follow complete dispute procedure including card replacement.
  • Deliver efficient and quality services to both internal and external customers.
  • Resolution of all customer issues/enquiries relating to fraudulent transactions.
  • Advise respective units to take necessary actions on possible fraudulent transactions.
  • Detect possible money laundering transactions and report accordingly.
  • Ensure timely processing of EDMS and review fraud alerts promptly.
  • Communicate with customers and department via email.
  • Report any suspicious activity or merchant observed to the supervisor.
  • Ensure timely reporting to respective Schemes.
  • Ensure that all lines are answered within 3 rings.

Requirements

  • Graduate
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Fraud Detection with thorough knowledge of card operations including Visa / MasterCard regulations and account monitoring activities.
  • Product knowledge & card systems
  • Strong process & control orientation
  • Knowledge of Visa / MasterCard regulations
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English & Arabic
  • Quality in Service Delivery

  • Excellent Communication & inter-personal skills
