About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Teach designated courses face-to-face and/or online, including synchronous and asynchronous instruction
Keep teaching materials current
Interact with students in discussions and hands-on activities
Continuously grade assignments
Monitor student performance throughout courses
Maintain appropriate office hours
Support students in their educational and career progression
Work with the School of Design + Art Director to identify new subjects
Identify guest speakers and potential adjuncts to deliver course material
Follow the prepared syllabus and curriculum through Canvas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master of Arts degree required
Minimum of 18 graduate credits directly related to the teaching field required
Five years of professional experience in the field preferred
Experience teaching in higher education or with adult learners preferred
Submit a letter of interest
Submit a current C.V. or resume
Submit a portfolio of no more than 20 images (10 professional and 10 student work) in PDF format, or a link to a digital portfolio
Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and employment verification
