Support Engineer

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of all university faculty and staff computers (including classroom support).
• Provide support for all audio/visual equipment for the university.
• Provide IT helpdesk support for all university residents, commuters, and alumni students.
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves problems for users of university/student computer software and hardware.
• Installs and maintains end-user workstations/laptops, printers, peripherals.
• Repairs faculty/staff/student computer hardware/software.
• Provides one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone.
• Responds/follows-up promptly to IT help desk ticket inquiries.
• Trains users on system updates and Virus/Spyware Removal/Detection.
• Sets up and uses various A/V equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
