About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the daily work of RSC staff attorneys
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to promote high-quality legal services
- Work closely with the other RSC Supervisor on hiring and quality assurance
- Provide brief legal advice to self-represented litigants
- Assist litigants with Maryland civil legal issues
- Identify operational challenges and contribute to resource development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland
- At least three years of litigation or relevant legal services experience
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of MCLA's brief advice model
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, collaborative, and solution-oriented team member
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to conduct efficient legal research
- Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
