About the role
- Monitor the Baltimore City lobby and ensure that the environment remains safe, secure, structured and peaceful for clients, visitors and staff.
- Conduct regular patrols of the Baltimore City office premises to monitor and ensure the safety and security of all assets, staff, clients and visitors.
- Utilize and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to Baltimore City security breaches, alarms, or emergencies.
- Prepare detailed written incident reports following any security incident.
- Manage and oversee access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel have entry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and procedures.
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform risk assessments and implement effective security measures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and maintaining professional relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Security certification or training is a plus.
