About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop a comprehensive project estimate including Billing of Materials (BOM) and labor breakdown
Work with sales/operations stakeholders in all Zeus hubs
Prepare fire & security estimates alongside the CoE Estimating Manager
Generate code compliant designs of small projects
Independently generate small system estimates and associated documentation
Perform site visits/surveys for small projects
Manage drawing files, records, and documentation orderly
Collaborate with engineering disciplines, sales teams, project management, and contractors
Review and approve small project estimates for compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months’ experience with fire protection & security systems
Familiar with the I Codes (e.g. IBC, IMC, etc.)
Familiar with NFPA standards (e.g. 70, 72, 13, etc.)
Field experience installing and/or testing fire alarm and/or security systems is a plus
NICET FAS Level I is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required
Experience with Salesforce, PROS, Building Reports and NetSuite is preferred
Familiar with reading and understanding construction documents
Ability to communicate effectively (e.g., written and verbal)
Ability to work independently
