About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft and submit Rate, Rule, and Form filings for all states and Property & Casualty lines of business
  • Prepare and complete the necessary transmittals
  • Assist with tracking and managing state filing objections
  • Work with key stakeholders to address and respond to the objections in a timely manner
  • Monitor the status of state filing projects
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met
  • Conduct targeted research using public and proprietary insurance resources to support client projects
  • Track bureau changes, updates to industry regulations and market trends (as needed)
  • Actively participate in internal strategy meetings and training sessions to build your insurance and consulting expertise
  • Collect, organize, and synthesize data for use in client-facing reports and internal strategic projects
  • Perform meticulous data entry and formatting for regulatory filings, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in managing internal databases to ensure information is current and accessible
  • Support the creation of professional draft documents, presentations, and client deliverables
  • Maintain organized project files and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal templates and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5+ years of progressive rate, rule, and form filing experience in Property and Casualty insurance, preferably Commercial Lines
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree (or in progress) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong aptitude for collecting, organizing, and reviewing data for accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to perform thorough and accurate research utilizing a variety of resources such as online databases and industry-specific publications
  • The ability to draft and format clear, concise, and professional documents, presentations, and reports
  • Experience with converting pdf files to Word and Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous focus on accuracy, particularly when performing data entry, quality checks, and managing project documentation
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, follow directions from senior team members, and contribute to a shared goal
  • Adaptability & Eagerness to Learn with a proactive approach to learning about new processes, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organized project files, and prioritize work to meet deadlines
