About the role
- To perform designated tasks related to the operation of the Physical and Occupational Therapy department as they apply to an appointment coordinator and rehab services aide.
- This person is frequently the first contact our customers have with the department and must be able to remain calm in stressful situations and represent the Clinic in a professional manner.
- The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with protocols and policies of the department and Clinic always with strict observance of patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred/Optional: Education in medical terminology is preferred.
- Minimum Required: Computer Experience.
- Preferred/Optional: Experience with computer scheduling.
- Experience in physical or occupational therapy departments or other medical field.
- Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
- Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
