About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment
- Facilitate activities and discussions engaging a range of learning styles
- Provide targeted guidance, mentorship, personalized support, and coaching to students
- Interpret and administer assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate technology effectively to enrich educational experiences
- Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction
- Develop course syllabi and instructional plans
- Organize daily classes using creative and innovative techniques
- Tailor teaching methods to diverse learning styles and needs
- Fulfill assigned schedules and maintain accurate student records
- Maintain a safe instructional environment and ensure equipment security where applicable
- Provide student advisement and timely, accurate information
- Collaborate with the Office of Student Success on tutoring and retention programs
- Participate in tours and recruitment events
- Assist with department and program recruitment planning
- Act as an ambassador for the program and TSTC
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Education and experience requirements are determined by the assigned program
- Texas residence preferred
- Ability to maintain flexibility, including availability for evening, weekend, or summer assignments as appropriate
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to TSTC's mission, vision, and values
- If hired, completion of the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form is required
- Must present acceptable original documents proving identity and authorization to work in the United States by the third day of employment
- Criminal history background check required for finalists
- Transcripts must be sent after application
