About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the day-to-day management and development of clients and the team
- Maintain professionalism and urgency to meet client and participant expectations
- Maintain extensive contact with clients and Mercer consultants
- Serve as a subject matter expert on client plans and administrative procedures
- Serve as the key resource for day-to-day issues

- Keep the team updated on client plans and benefit regulations through training and development

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years’ experience in defined benefit administration
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel and Word
- MS Access and MS Project proficiency highly preferred
- Pension-related Calculations experience required
- Previous experience creating business processes for project implementation
- Ability to work a consistent schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to present complex issues/data with a high level of clarity and impact
- Demonstrated previous team lead experience
- Strong track record of leadership and team development
- Subject matter expertise in providing expert guidance, resolving complex issues, and driving best practices within the team
