About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead discrete workstreams within client engagements addressing complex insurance challenges
- Support actuarial modernization, process automation, AI-enabled workflows, model transformation, data modernization, and operating model improvement
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify insights, trends, and opportunities
- Develop, evaluate, and refine actuarial methodologies, assumptions, models, and analyses
- Advise client stakeholders and translate analytical findings into practical recommendations and executive-ready insights
- Partner with actuaries, engineers, data scientists, and other specialists to develop scalable technical solutions
- Own the quality and accuracy of deliverables and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Contribute to new actuarial tools, methodologies, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and delivery approaches
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, guide junior colleagues, and contribute to team development
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of actuarial experience
- Commitment to pursuing CAS actuarial credentials
- Minimum of 5 passed actuarial exams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and intellectual curiosity
- Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet project objectives and deadlines
- Experience utilizing AI technologies for modeling and analytics
- Knowledge of Python, R, and SQL
- Expected to work in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week
